“In recognizing the humanity of our fellow beings, we pay ourselves the highest tribute.”

Thurgood Marshall

Our mission is to mobilize men to enter into and alleviate the suffering in their communities, beginning with East Fort Worth.

“Dr. King won’t rise from the grave, Malcolm X won’t rise from the grave, we have to rise up to fix what is wrong.”

Drugs, gangs, prostitution, and crime. These are realities that have plagued the Stop 6 neighborhood from the outside looking in for decades. However, for Dante, Quinton, and Frank, Stop 6 was home. Home meant sleeping at your friend’s house, playing football in the streets, learning what it means to be a man from your brothers, and not falling prey to the vices of the community. They learned being a product of your environment is up to interpretation. For them, it meant World Wide P. For them it meant coming back to the community and teaching the men of their community to rise up and not be victims of societal stereotypes. In a community rich in history, decorated with its own culture, these men chose to come back and be the impact the neighborhood needed. And from this, Community Frontline was born.

After premiering in 2017 at TCU, “76105: Dr. King Won’t Rise” has since gone on to show at the 2018 Thin Line Festival in Denton, TX, and the 2018 Fort Worth Indie Film Showcase in Fort Worth, TX. View the full documentary.
